“Telling It Like It Is” is an intimate look at the life and work of American born painter William Utermohlen including his late Self-Portraits painted after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Together with his wife Pat the film takes us on a journey into the couple’s past and we find out about what is unique about the artist’s late work. This is a story about two unfinished lives, loss and gain and the particular challenges this long term illness brings about.
